DerecePanel is a 14-module coaching platform for Turkish YKS (university entrance exam) tutors and institutions. It ingests optical-scan and spreadsheet exam results, runs topic-level analytics, builds weekly study plans, and includes an in-panel AI assistant named Onyx. Coach, student, and institution-admin roles share one student record. DerecePanel is YKS-focused (TYT and AYT); it is not an LGS product and not a ready-made exam or question-bank vendor. Institutions upload their own optical or Excel results and run an analytics–planning–library–error-prescription workflow. The in-panel assistant Onyx summarizes data that is already in the panel; it does not invent scores. DerecePanel is cloud software that lets individual YKS coaches, dershane (exam-prep) schools, and multi-campus institutions keep student tracking, mock-exam measurement, and weekly planning in one panel. A typical flow: the coach or institution uploads optical-scan output (.dat/.prn) or Excel/CSV; the results hub and analysis hub produce subject–topic–item breakdowns; weak topics feed the weekly or autonomous study plan; the student sees tasks in their own login; the coach stores session notes on the same profile. Onyx reads nets, topic gaps, and target data already stored in the panel and returns a short summary plus focus suggestions. It does not fabricate missing scores; the coach decides. The student panel is for students assigned by a coach. There is no parent/guardian portal as of September 2026. There is no LGS product. ### Who it is for - **Individual YKS coaches:** Coaches who need one record per student for nets, weekly plans, and session notes instead of scattered spreadsheets and chat threads. - **Dershane schools and education institutions:** Institutions that already run their own publisher or optical exams and need bulk upload plus class/campus reporting, with role-based access. - **Multi-campus administrators:** Administrators who need coach, class, and campus visibility. Student history stays with the institution if a coach leaves. - **YKS students assigned by a coach:** Students see plans, exam feedback, and tasks from their own login on phone or desktop. DerecePanel is not a standalone consumer app; access depends on a coach or institution account. ### How the product works 1. **Exam results are uploaded** — Fixed-width optical files, delimited TXT/CSV, or an Excel template. 2. **Analysis is read** — Subject, topic, and item breakdown; class comparison; triage / heatmap. 3. **A weekly plan is written** — Weekly or autonomous draft from weak topics; the coach approves; the student sees it. 4. **Tasks and error prescriptions** — Error prescriptions from wrong items, library resources, or scan/booklet packs. 5. **Targets and preferences** — Net-to-score scenarios and a YÖK Atlas preference wizard on the same profile. ### The 14 modules ### Student management Profile, target program, net trend, and risk label on one card. Each student record holds target university/program, class, and status labels. Exam history and session notes attach to the same record so history does not scatter when staff change. ### Class and campus management Group coaching, campus comparison, and bulk assignment. You create classes, assign students, and filter plans, resources, and exams by class. Institution plans add campus breakdowns. Access is role-based: coaches see their students; admins see a wider slice. ### Mock-exam and optical result upload Fixed-width optical output and Excel/CSV import. The panel reads fixed-width optical files (.dat/.prn) and delimited TXT/CSV, with template mapping and width-alignment tools. It does not publish a guaranteed brand/model list; it targets common institutional export formats. Excel templates exist for student lists and exam results. ### Results hub Class and individual exam results in one hub. Uploaded exams appear in the results hub. Coaches compare classes, spot missing participants, and open individual nets from one screen. It is the staging point before the analysis hub. ### Analysis hub Topic breakdown, heatmap, triage, and multi-exam trends. The analysis hub breaks nets down to subject and topic, with roughly 12-week trends, a progress heatmap, and a triage matrix. The point is to answer “is this student actually improving?” with tables rather than memory. ### Topic tracking Official YKS curriculum completion and weak-topic lists. Topic tracking stores completion against the official YKS (TYT/AYT) curriculum. Weekly plans and error prescriptions consume this data. The curriculum comes from DerecePanel’s canonical YKS dataset, not an ad-hoc list typed by the coach. ### Weekly / autonomous planner A draft plan from weak topics; the coach approves; the student sees it immediately. The autonomous planner drafts weekly tasks from gaps in topic tracking and exam analysis. The coach edits and approves, or copies a saved template. Students see a daily task list in their panel. ### Book library Resource catalog, student/class assignment, and progress. Institutions catalog books, assign them to a student or class, and track progress from both coach and student panels so “which resource did they finish?” does not live in chat. ### Error prescription Targeted retry packs built from wrong items. Wrong items from exams become a personal study pack (prescription). Templates live in a store; a wrong-item pool is fed by analysis. The student sees what to solve; the coach tracks completion. ### Topic scans and booklets Scan generation, analysis, and booklet archive. Coaches generate topic scans, break down results, and archive booklet packs. This is the content-production side of the same topic-gap data that exam analysis produces. ### Test Maker PDF item cropping, test packets, and a question pool. Test Maker crops items from PDF sources, builds tests, and stores them in a central pool. It supports an institution’s own assessment process; it is not a sold national question bank. ### YKS simulation (score, nets, preferences) Net scenarios, score calculation, and a YÖK Atlas preference wizard. The net wizard answers “if I reach these nets, what is my score?”; score calculation uses TYT/AYT coefficients; the preference wizard reads YÖK Atlas bachelor and associate data. It is decision support, not a placement guarantee. ### Onyx AI assistant Summaries and focus suggestions from student data already in the panel. Onyx is DerecePanel’s in-panel AI assistant. On coach and student panels it reads that account’s nets, topic gaps, and targets and answers in natural language. It is not the same product as other vendors’ assistants. It does not invent nets; if the data is missing it does not fabricate it. ### Appointments and live session room Appointment calendar, notes, and a Jitsi-based session room. Appointments cover parent meetings, 1:1 coaching, and group sessions; notes attach to the student profile. The live room uses Jitsi for video, a pomodoro timer, and a session summary. A Zoom account is not required. ### Onyx Onyx is DerecePanel’s in-panel AI assistant. It reads student nets, topic gaps, and target-score data and returns summaries plus focus suggestions.
